BioscienZ provides contract research fermentation services to customers in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Our 500 m2 state-of-the-art facility with a fermenter capacity ranging from 0.25L to 300L, enables us to develop industrial processes. We specialize in strain improvement and downstream processing, offering a quick and efficient service as well as reliable consultancy.
Typical projects we execute for customers are:

Make a fermentation sample including DSP (0.5 to 300 L scale).

Improve your overall bioprocess (titers, volumetric productivity, yield, DSP).

Develop a strain expressing your heterologous protein/product.

Classical strain improvement (mutagenesis and selection to improve your strain).

ABOUT BIOSCIENZ
BioscienZ BV is an industrial biotechnology company founded by Wim de Laat in 2011 and is developing new technologies based on microbial fermentation as a core competence.
The company provides Contract Research Activities besides serving as an incubator for proprietary technologies.
The company has access to a broad toolbox including Molecular Biology, Fermentation, Analytical tools and Down Stream Processing technologies and has 35 fermentors from 0,25 L to 300 L. The company is active in both classical strain improvement (mutation and selection) as well has rDNA technologies in a high throughput manner and has proprietary platform technologies (bacterial, yeast, fungi, vectors and fermentation and DSP protocols).
On January 1, 2020 a new company called The Protein Brewery B.V. (www.theproteinbrewery.nl) was founded that is commercializing protein products made by fermentation technologies developed by BioscienZ BV.
